Brazil, part of the Shoetown Origins Series, a single that's big on tradition. It’s clean with hazelnut, milk chocolate and hints of dried fruit notes. Super versatile coffee that works well for all brew methods. Full specs below.
Ground coffee is great for getting started—just open the bag and brew. But if you really want the best flavour, whole beans are where it’s at.
Once coffee is ground, it starts to lose freshness almost instantly. That’s because of oxidation, a process that kicks in when the coffee is exposed to air, moisture, and light. Ground coffee has more surface area than whole beans, so it goes stale much faster—we’re talking minutes, not days.
With wholebean coffee, you grind right before you brew, which means you’re working with super fresh grounds, every time. Not only does that improve flavour, but it also lets you customise your grind size depending on how you're brewing—whether that's espresso, French press, or pour over.
Sure, pre-ground is quick and convenient, but grinding fresh lets you really dial in your coffee and get more from every brew. Plus, it’s a pretty enjoyable ritual.
Our ground coffee is a hybrid-grind, designed to work well across most filter brew methods—French press, drip, V60, and Aeropress.
We wouldn’t recommend it. For espresso, you’ll get much better results using whole beans and grinding fresh to suit your machine’s needs.
