Yes we offer ground coffee too. Our ground coffee is a hybrid-grind, designed to work well across most filter brew methods—French press, drip, V60, and Aeropress. But if you're looking for something specific let us know, we're happy to grind to whatever you need.
Yes! 🌱 We ethically source all our speciality coffee working hand-in-hand with carefully selected suppliers who are dedicated to working directly with the producers, many of them small-scale producers, making sure they have been well paid for the coffee they grow, paying above and beyond the fairtrade base price to ensure fair and sustainable relationships, after all, without the producers we’re nothing.✌️
Generally speaking, no. But we do sometimes have a guest roast on which is certified organic.
The reality is getting organic certified has become increasingly difficult and costly. Many of the producers we work with are small scale, family run farms and are simply too small to afford it continue to farm using organic techniques, without using any harmful chemicals or pesticides even though they dont hold certification.
We recommend letting coffee rest for 5-7 days before brewing. While fresh is best, there is too fresh.
Coffee needs time to degas, releasing built up CO2. Allowing it to rest for a few days after roasting will improve its flavour and extraction.
For espresso roasts, we recommend waiting at least 7 days post-roasting and at least 5 days for filter coffee. Waiting this short period ensures you'll get the best possible taste and experience from your coffee...we promise!
To maintain optimum freshness, store your coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
We know Steves mate said but please don't store it in the fridge or freezer, honestly.
Absolutely! We've got two awesome blends and release a range of exciting guest blends throughout the year.
Our Flagship Blend, Unlucky Cobbler, is a super versatile blend bringing together dark chocolate, nutty and caramel flavours. A true classic. Roasted for espresso, perfect for any brew method.
Then we've got Factory Blend, the fruiter counterpart. It's a light roast espresso blend, it's perfectly balanced and works well for all brew methods. You can expect a nutty, chocolate body with a caramel, orange and citrus punch.
